Happy 5 months to my beautiful baby boy!!

Can you believe it ?!? 5 months already – cute little Tayson has brought so much joy and laughter to our family – he is such a sweet little guy and is always so happy (well, almost always).  He was born smiling and has not stopped since!!

He is changing so quickly I feel like if I even blink I am going to miss something.   This past week he started on “solids” and is loving it, well, at least he loves what actually makes it into his mouth!!

His favorite toy right now is his little monkey (from his play gym) and his bouncer.  He loves to play with both and shows so much personality when doing so.  His jungle gym is so much fun, he loves batting at all the hanging animals – but the monkey is his favorite!  We tie the little monkey’s tail around the hanging butterflies and Tayson will pull on the monkey until he pulls it off and then attacks the monkey with slobbery goodness – here is a cute shot of him looking up at his monkey on the bouncer:

Can those cheeks be any cuter???  I think not.

He loves to play in his bouncer and now that he can finally touch the ground (we used to have to put a book or pillow under him) he can get some pretty good jumps in – he even surprises himself sometimes when he gets a few inches off of the ground!  A few days after we got the bouncer Tayson stayed in it for over an hour and plain tuckered himself out:

Not a day goes by that I am not grateful for this little guy.  He seriously has brought so much joy to our family already – he is so full of personality – I cannot wait to see how he is as he continues to develop and grow.

Here are a few more of my favorites:

Tayson chillin’ on the couch

And last but not least – a fun little trio we like to call “The 3 degrees of Glory”

What a good sport Tayson is – and for the record, these faces are seriously all natural – no pinching or anything was involved to get the different levels of expression!! =)

The beginning of a fun fall season – Happy Halloween!

Fall …. my favorite time of the year!!  Love the changing of the weather, the football (GO COUGS!!), the preparations for the holidays and all the fun activities we do with the kids.  For me, having the kids indoors during the cold season is a blessing, means we get the play more family games and just chill and hang out together!  Yesterday was Tayon’s first Halloween – it sure did come and go quickly this year!!

Here are some pics of the cute kidos:

Carmyn (Cupid) Tayson (Little Froger) and Kelzey (Nerd =)

Tayson had so much fun trick or treating – well, going with the girls anyways – we didn’t have a bag for him – nothing bugs me worse then a dad/mom taking their little baby out trick or treating and getting candy for them – you know they are not old enough to eat it and if the parents want the candy go buy your own bag!!  Anyways – enough of my ranting.  Tayson had a blast going out with the kids and spending time with dad!  Sadly, due to my foot still in a cast, I could not go out with them this year, broke my heart, but I sure got a lot of exercise answering that door on my knee scooter!

It goes without saying that I have THE BEST hubby in the world!  I LOVE going to the kidos school to watch their Halloween Parade and was not sure how I was going to swing it this year with Tayson and my cast and not being able to drive and such.  Spencer was amazing and took the day off work so he could go with and see the kids, they LOVED having their dad there as well and it was fun watching it with him.

Kelzey with her friends, Kamae and Savannah  they all wanted to be nerds so we made them matching shirts that said “The Nerdets” on it – so much fun and something they can wear whenever, if they really wanted too.  Emily and I took the girls to DI and they picked out their own outfits, they had so much fun – it was definitely a growing experience for me, it was hard to sit back a little and let her pick out hte dorkiest close she could fine, and then wear them out in public!    Sadie (Kelzey’s friend) is the cute little Annie next to them!

I love that they even look like nerds from behind!!

Cute Cupid Carmyn

Mr Rencher – the kids principle – super great guy and always involved with the kids.

Here are the girls and part of their loot – I forgot to take a picture of it last night after trick or treating – so some of it has already been eaten, hopefully not too much though!
